What happens when four friends from Canada want to experience the thrill of the Alps—but on their own terms? You get a custom-built, 7-day self-guided tour packed with 1,800 km of jaw-dropping scenery, legendary mountain passes, and just the right balance of freedom and structure.
This wasn’t just another ride. It was a tailored Alpine adventure that hit 25 of the Top 50 Alpine passes—and touched on nearly 40 in total. And best of all? No guide, no fixed pace, just great roads, great friends, and great memories.

Why This Tour Was Special
These four riders wanted the ultimate bucket-list Alpine experience without the extra fluff. They had riding skills, a good sense of adventure, and wanted a fully mapped, fully booked journey—without being tied to a group or schedule.
We took our 9-day guided tour blueprint and condensed it into a 7-day, high-impact experience that included all the must-ride roads and the most scenic routes across Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.
From Stelvio to Grimsel, from Giau to Bernina—this route was built for riders who came to ride.

The Highlights
🏍️ World-Class Riding
Stelvio Pass, Gavia, Umbrail, Bernina, Tremola, San Bernardino, Grimsel, Susten, Julier, Giau, Pordoi—and that’s not even the full list. If it belongs on a “Top 50 Passes in the Alps” list, they probably rode it.
🛌 Relax and Recharge
We booked a mix of rider-friendly 3-4 star alpine hotels —including one 5-star hotel with a full spa setup halfway through the tour. After back-to-back passes and long twisty days, soaking in a hot tub with mountain views wasn’t just a luxury—it was well-earned.
📱 Ride-Ready Tools
Each rider received a fully prepped tour package: GPX files, route notes, hotel details, safety tips, and highlight recommendations. Whether they wanted to chase every curve or linger in a mountain village café, they had everything they needed at their fingertips.
🍽️ Freedom to Ride Their Way
With breakfast covered and no fixed lunch or dinner stops, the group had full control over their pace and plans. Fancy a late alpine lunch or a beer at sunset? All up to them.

Built for Independent Riders
This tour was made for riders who don’t need a guide—but still want expert-level planning. With more than 200,000 kilometers of riding experience behind the route design, we curated each day to offer a rewarding mix of iconic passes, lesser-known gems, and postcard-worthy backdrops.
It’s not just about hitting the top passes—it’s about when you hit them, how you connect them, and what you get to see along the way.
