Owner & Lead Guide

I am Oliver, the rider and lead tour guide behind MotoVibes Travel and the MotoVibes YouTube channel with 30,000+ motorcyclists. After years of solo planning and chasing Europe’s best roads, I left my corporate career to share what I love most: the camaraderie and connection that happens when riders explore together.

After 230,000+ km across Europe in the past 12 years, I know what looks good on a map—and what rides well in real life. That experience goes into every route, every day plan, and every stop so you get the best riding without wasting time.

Together with Stephan’s premium motorcycle rentals in Hamburg, Munich and Málaga, we make it easy for riders who fly in to get the full setup: top-tier bikes, quality gear, and a trip that is ready to ride across the Alps, Norway, the Balkans, Sardinia, Portugal, and Spain. With small groups and real-time communication on guided tours, we handle the logistics so you can focus on the ride—and the friendships that form along the way.

My Story

I started like many riders—stealing weekends between work and family, with few friends who wanted to go farther. I had the hunger for the real Europe ride, but time was always the limiter. And when time is tight, you feel that pressure: pick the wrong road, miss the good stuff, waste a day you cannot get back.

There was a stretch where I would sometimes only get one riding day in two weeks. So I tried to squeeze an entire tour into a single day—big mileage, big effort. And I still remember the moment it clicked: the last hour riding home in the dark. I was happy I rode… but I was also exhausted in a way that felt wrong for something that is supposed to recharge you.

That was my turning point. I did not need more kilometers. I needed better journeys—rides with flow, timed right, built around the roads that actually deliver.

So I started doing the work upfront: planning routes, pacing days, and building trips properly. After more than 230,000 km across Europe in the past 12 years, I have learned what looks good on a map vs what rides well in real life—and how to turn limited days into the kind of ride you will still talk about years later.

MotoVibes started as a YouTube channel and grew into a real community. Now I bring it to the road: great routes, the right vibe, and a place where riders connect—whether you come from down the street or across the world.

Who MotoVibes Travel is for:
MotoVibes Travel is for riders who want the best of Europe on two wheels, but do not want to spend weeks planning or risk wasting valuable vacation days. Most riders fly in from abroad and rent a bike and gear through our partner locations, and solo riders are always welcome—on guided tours the friendships happen fast, and on self-guided tours you may still link up with others on the same dates.

Choose your ride:

  • Guided Tours: Choose the region and dates that fit, join the group, and ride with me as your guide. Fly in and rent a bike and gear through our partner—then just ride.

  • Self-Guided Tours (Catalog): Pick a proven tour, get the routes and plan, and ride it on your own schedule (no guide). If others are booked on the same dates, you might link up for dinners and coffee stops.

  • Custom Tours: Not seeing exactly what you want? We start with a consulting call, then I build the full experience around your time, skill level, and priorities.

A Partnership Fueled by Passion and Quality

Most of our riders fly in. With Stephan’s premium rentals in Hamburg and Munich, you can land, gear up, and ride—without shipping a bike or hunting for trustworthy rental kit.

We didn’t start as collaborators; we started as riders planning the next ride. I met Stephan during a Norway film project—he lent my brother an adventure bike for a 10‑day run—and one ride turned into late nights in his shop maintaining bikes, mapping routes, and a friendship that became a partnership.

I craft and guide tours that blend bucket‑list passes with tucked‑away cafés and quiet viewpoints. Stephan brings the fleet: top‑tier adventure motorcycles from Hamburg and Munich, prepped like your own—GPS‑ready, premium luggage fitted, every detail dialed. Prefer to travel light? KLIM Gore‑Tex apparel, waterproof Sidi boots, helmets, and optional airbag vests mean you roll out confident.

We keep it small and personal—more like riding with friends than following a flag.
