If you want to know what makes the Dolomites so special for riders, this year’s tour was the perfect answer: a week of blue skies, warm temps, and a group that brought together riders from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Iraq. We hit the sweet spot—early enough in June to beat the main tourist crush, but not so early that the roads were empty. In fact, some of the more famous passes were already starting to buzz with activity, but that just added to the energy.
“I had the time of my life during the Dolomites Deluxe trip! This carefree motorcycle journey took me along stunning roads through breathtaking landscapes. With Oliver’s expert guidance, all I had to do was focus on the ride itself. Pure joy from start to finish—an unforgettable experience!”

One Base, No Luggage, All the Fun
The beauty of this tour is the setup: one comfortable 4-star hotel in the heart of the Dolomites, so every day you ride light and free—no panniers, no packing, just pure mountain fun. Each morning, we set out with a fresh plan, knowing we’d be back to the same spot for dinner and stories.
A Group That Clicked
From the first evening’s meet-and-greet, it was clear this was going to be a good one. The group gelled fast—different backgrounds, different bikes, but the same love for twisty roads and mountain views. Whether it was a Belgian leading the charge up Passo di Giau, a Dutch rider carving perfect lines on the Sellaronda, or our friend from Iraq soaking up his first taste of the Alps, everyone brought something to the table.
Weather on Our Side
We couldn’t have asked for better conditions. The sun was out every day, and the Dolomites delivered their best: clear views, dry tarmac, and just enough warmth to make the high passes feel inviting. Sure, it was on the hot side—especially down by Lake Garda—but that just made the gelato stops even sweeter. The only downside? The secret’s out: even in early June, some of the classic passes were already drawing crowds. But with our flexible routes and early starts, we always found space to let the bikes breathe.

The Riding – A Greatest Hits Tour
Every day was a new highlight reel. We kicked things off with a scenic run from Munich to Karersee, taking in the Staller Sattel as our first taste of Alpine switchbacks. From there, it was a daily buffet of legendary passes: Penser Joch, Jaufenpass, Passo di Rolle, Passo Pordoi, Valparola, Falzarego, and the show-stopping Giau. The Sellaronda day was a favorite—six top passes in one loop, with the option to ride them from both directions for double the fun.
We even made it down to Lake Garda for a change of pace, mixing lakeside views with rolling mountain roads. And of course, no Dolomites tour is complete without a stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the beating heart of the region.
Flexible Pace, Maximum Enjoyment
What made this trip stand out was the flexibility. Riders could push the pace on the twisty bits or hang back and soak up the scenery—no pressure, just good riding. Every day could be a rest day if you wanted, and the single-base setup meant zero stress about luggage or logistics.

The Group Vibe
Evenings were for swapping stories, sharing laughs, and planning the next day’s adventure. The camaraderie was real—riders who started as strangers left as friends, already talking about the next trip.
Looking Ahead
If you’re thinking about riding the Dolomites, early June is a sweet spot: warm weather, lively roads, and just enough space to make the passes your own. This year’s group proved that a mix of nationalities, a flexible plan, and a shared love of riding is all you need for an unforgettable week in the mountains.
