To maximize your time in Norway’s most spectacular regions, we’ve carefully planned ferry connections that take you directly into the heart of fjord country. Although the journey includes some longer motorway stretches between Hamburg and Hirtshals, this route allows us to dedicate more time to the scenic, relaxed riding that makes this tour unique.


This tour is crafted for riders who want to savor the experience without the intensity of extreme mountain riding. The routes are designed for smooth, enjoyable riding, letting you fully immerse yourself in the surrounding beauty without the pressure of challenging ascents or endless switchbacks.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Hamburg, Germany Arrive in vibrant Hamburg and get settled in. In the evening, meet your fellow riders, pick up your rental bikes, and enjoy a welcome dinner. It’s a relaxed start to get to know each other and gear up for the adventure ahead!

Day 2 (520 km): Hamburg to Stavanger Today we begin our journey north, traveling through Germany and Denmark to reach the ferry port in Hirtshals. Enjoy the ride on the way to our overnight ferry, taking us straight to the heart of Norway’s stunning fjordland.

Day 3 (215 km): Stavanger to Bergen Welcome to Norway! We’ll start with a breathtaking coastal ride along fjords as we make our way to Bergen. With time for sightseeing, explore the charming streets, colorful waterfront, and historic Bryggen district of this vibrant city.

Day 4 (300 km): Bergen to Ulvik Today’s ride takes us on a scenic loop around Hardangerfjord, one of Norway’s most picturesque fjords. We’ll follow winding roads along the water, surrounded by steep mountains and cascading waterfalls, and end our day in the quaint town of Ulvik.

Day 5 (285 km): Ulvik to Sogndal Prepare for a day of spectacular sights! We’ll visit the famous Vøringsfossen waterfall, ride through the vast Hardangervidda plateau, and take in panoramic views from the Stegastein viewpoint overlooking Aurlandsfjord. We finish the day riding alongside the Sognefjord, Norway’s largest fjord, as we reach Sogndal.

Day 6 (265 km): Sogndal to Geiranger Today’s route offers a mix of stunning landscapes, including a scenic ride to Lom and then onto Geiranger. We’ll ride along the historic Gamle Strynefjellsveg and stop at Dalsnibba viewpoint for epic fjord views before arriving in Geiranger, home to one of Norway’s most famous fjords.

Day 7: Rest Day in Geiranger Take a break from the bike and soak in the beauty of Geirangerfjord with a relaxing boat tour. This fjord is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its towering cliffs, deep blue waters, and iconic waterfalls like the Seven Sisters. A perfect day to recharge and explore.

Day 8 (255 km): Geiranger to Molde Today’s journey includes the thrilling Trollstigen Road, famous for its hairpin bends and dramatic mountain views. We’ll also ride the Atlantic Ocean Road, a stunning coastal route that crosses small islands with ocean views. We end the day in Molde, a town known for its scenic fjord backdrop.

Day 9 (300 km): Molde to Sogndal Our route today takes us along the tranquil Nordalsfjord and Innvikfjord, with a stop at the impressive Bøyabreen Glacier viewpoint. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the sheer beauty of Norway’s glacial landscapes as we make our way back to Sogndal.

Day 10 (330 km): Sogndal to Nesheim Prepare for another epic day! We’ll pass the stunning Gaularfjellet viewpoint, take in the twists and turns of the Gaularfjellet mountains, and ride along the beautiful Sognefjord. A stop at Skjervsfossen waterfall adds to the scenic highlights before we settle in Nesheim.

Day 11 (330 km): Nesheim to Jørpeland Today’s route features Sörfjorden, the impressive Låtefossen waterfall, and the picturesque Svandalsfossen. These scenic highlights, set against Norway’s lush fjord landscapes, make for an unforgettable day of riding as we approach Jørpeland.

Day 12 (260 km): Jørpeland to Stavanger Our final day in Norway is one for the books. We’ll take a ferry ride along Lysefjord, where you’ll see the iconic Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) from the water. Ride the famous Lysevegen road with its scenic ocean views before returning to Stavanger. In the evening, we board the overnight ferry back to Denmark.

Day 13 (520 km): Stavanger to Hamburg After an overnight journey on the ferry we will arrive in Hirtshals and then head south on the motorway to Hamburg. In the late afternoon, we’ll conclude the tour with bike drop-off and fond farewells to new friends and unforgettable memories.

I’ll be there to provide tips and guidance along the way, helping you build confidence and refine your technique as we ride through some of the most scenic routes. For those who feel comfortable, there will be opportunities to ride at your own pace on select sections, allowing you to enjoy the road ahead at a level that feels right for you. Our group structure ensures everyone rides at their comfort pace, making this tour a rewarding experience for all skill levels.

There’s something special about exploring the open road together, conquering mountain passes side by side, and sharing the day’s highlights over dinner each evening. The tour price includes comprehensive planning, a dedicated tour guide throughout, accommodations, and breakfast each day. You will stay in carefully selected 3- and 4-star hotels, each chosen for its unique charm, location, or historical significance. Breakfast is included, and we will either dine at the hotel or have nearby options, giving you the chance to savor local cuisine after a day on the road. You will also receive GPX data for each route to enhance your riding experience. I will be capturing parts of our journey on social media, sharing highlights on Instagram and in YouTube videos, so you will have memorable snapshots to look back on. For accommodations, booking is encouraged for shared double rooms, where you will be paired with a compatible roommate. However, single rooms may be available upon request—just reach out to inquire. This exclusive tour is limited to a small group to ensure a personalized and unforgettable experience.
