Starting and finishing in Málaga, this 13‑day trip with 11 riding days and 1 rest day links the Algarve’s rugged headlands, the Sintra hills and Cabo da Roca, Nazaré’s Atlantic cliffs, the Douro Valley’s legendary N222, and the high country of Serra da Estrela. Expect big scenery, authentic food, and roads you’ll rave about long after the last corner. We stay in handpicked 3–4‑star hotels with character.

You warm up via the A‑397 to Ronda and slide into Portugal along quiet backroads. The Algarve delivers Serra da Monchique’s flowing bends and sunset vibes at Sagres. Riding north, the Alentejo & Vicentina coast serves up wind‑carved beaches and the Serra de Arrábida before you sweep over the Tagus into Lisbon. A morning loop through the Sintra hills sets you up for Cabo da Roca—mainland Europe’s westernmost point—then it’s lighthouse views at Cabo Carvoeiro and a golden‑hour finish in Nazaré.

From the Atlantic you cut inland to the Serra da Lousã backroads and on to Porto for a rest day along the Douro. Then comes the headline act: the Douro Valley—terraced vineyards, river bends, and non‑stop grin factor. Day 1: Welcome to Andalusia

Arrive in Malaga at your own pace and settle into your hotel. Pick up your motorcycle, review your route materials, and enjoy a relaxed evening before your self-guided journey through Spain and Portugal begins.

Day 2: Mountain Twists & The Portuguese Border

Leaving the Mediterranean coast, you climb through classic Andalusian mountain roads and dramatic inland scenery before continuing west on faster routes. The day finishes near the Portuguese border after a varied ride across southern Spain.

Day 3: Atlantic Horizons & Coastal Mountain Roads

Cross into Portugal and ride through the warm southern landscapes of the Algarve, combining flowing mountain roads with rugged Atlantic viewpoints. Continue along the coast to a relaxed seaside setting, where the ocean is never far away.

Day 4: Wild Coastlines & Fairytale Palaces

Follow Portugal’s beautiful southwestern coastline north, with ocean views, quiet roads, and striking headlands along the way. A famous bridge crossing leads you toward a romantic mountain town known for its grand palaces and historic character.

Day 5: Europe’s Western Edge & Giant Waves

Ride to the dramatic cliffs at the westernmost edge of continental Europe before continuing past whitewashed coastal villages and a charming medieval town. The day ends above a famous Atlantic shoreline renowned for its powerful surf and sweeping views.

Day 6: Hidden Highlands & Forest Backroads

Turn inland to explore the quieter mountain roads of central Portugal, winding through wooded hills, traditional villages, and peaceful highland valleys. The route delivers a relaxed mix of flowing curves and scenic countryside before reaching your overnight stop.

Day 7: Mountain Cascades & Riverside Panoramas

Continue through central Portugal on remote mountain roads, passing quiet villages and dramatic natural scenery. The day brings you toward the north and a historic riverside city, where you can enjoy its lively waterfront atmosphere in the evening.

Day 8: Riverside Charms & Historic Quarters

• Solo Rider Shared Double Room*: €2,390

• Solo Rider Single Room: €3,490

• Rider + Passenger Shared Double Room €4,780

If there is no other rider available to share the room, you may be required to upgrade to a single room at the single-room rate. We will make every reasonable effort to book rooms with separate beds where they are available; however, please note that separate beds cannot be guaranteed at all properties.

Motorcycle rentals and rental gear items are provided by Adventure Rental in Hamburg /Munich and are subject to availability and not included in the tour price. Prices are approximate and may vary – they include the regular mileages for the tour, full coverage insurance (with deductible), full pannier & top case set and GPS navigation system. Payment for rental items will be due at the start of the tour.
