You begin with a warm-up over Puerto del León before tackling the legendary Carretera de la Cabra, a road that snakes from the sea into the clouds toward Granada. From there, you push further east than most tours dare, conquering the Alto de Velefique—Spain’s answer to the Stelvio Pass—with its dizzying stack of perfect hairpins. You will ride the turquoise shores of the Tranco de Beas Reservoir, and navigate the prehistoric, lunar landscapes of the Gorafe Desert.

Day 1: Welcome to Andalusia

Arrive in Malaga at your own pace and settle into your hotel. Pick up your motorcycle, review your route materials, and take the evening to relax before your self-guided Andalusian adventure begins.

Day 2: Coastal Climbs & Mountain Twists

Leaving the coast, you climb into the rugged hills above the Mediterranean on a flowing mix of mountain roads and sweeping curves. Enjoy wide coastal views before continuing inland toward one of Andalusia’s most historic cities.

Day 3: High Sierra Passes & Southern Landscapes

You ride through the high country of southern Spain, following scenic mountain roads beneath dramatic peaks and across remote upland terrain. The landscape gradually changes as you descend toward the warmer, drier landscapes of the southeast.

Day 4: The Curves of the Eastern Sierras

Day 6: Desert Canyons & Olive-Clad Hills

Day 7: Wild Sierra Slopes & Flowing Ridges

Day 8: Forested Valleys & Andalusian Plains

Motorcycle rentals and rental gear items are provided by Adventure Rental in Hamburg /Munich and are subject to availability and not included in the tour price. Prices are approximate and may vary – they include the regular mileages for the tour, full coverage insurance (with deductible), full pannier & top case set and GPS navigation system. Payment for rental items will be due at the start of the tour.
