Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Hamburg & Tour Briefing

Arrival day in Hamburg, with time to check in and relax before our evening gathering. We meet your tour guide and fellow riders for the official briefing and rental motorcycle pick-up, followed by a welcome dinner to kick off our journey north to Scandinavia.

Day 2: The Road North to the Danish Coast

A long transfer day along fast highways carries us north through Germany and into Denmark, tracing the length of the Jutland peninsula. We arrive at a lively harbor town on the northern coast, ready for the sea crossing to Norway the following morning.

Day 3: Sea Crossing & Norwegian Mountain Debut

An early morning ferry carries us across the strait into Norway's dramatic coastal terrain. From the port, we climb into the mountains on a stunning high-altitude scenic route, winding through remote plateaus and rugged fjordside valleys to our first mountain lodge.

Day 4: Fjordside Roads & Legendary Viewpoints

We ride a spectacular high mountain road with sweeping fjord views, with the option to add a scenic boat cruise beneath a famous cliffside rock formation. The route continues along a beautiful tourist road hugging the water's edge before reaching our overnight stop.

Day 5: Waterfalls & The Great Fjord Country

A dramatic waterfall tumbling directly beneath the road marks an early highlight, followed by scenic riding along one of Norway's grandest fjords. We climb a quiet mountain route through pristine alpine terrain before arriving at our charming fjordside hotel.

Day 6: High Plateaus & Snow-Capped Passes

Crossing an iconic fjord bridge, we ride past a thundering waterfall before climbing onto a vast high mountain plateau of open tundra. The route continues along a dramatic fjordside cliff road and a legendary high-altitude snow route, ending in a picturesque valley town.

Day 7: Panoramic Viewpoints & Fjord Crossings

We climb to a breathtaking mountain viewpoint overlooking a vast network of fjords and valleys, then descend along a scenic mountain route with sweeping vistas. Riding along the shores of Norway's longest fjord, we finish the day in a charming coastal city.

Day 8: Bridges, Tunnels & The Atlantic Ocean Road

A spectacular viewpoint over our coastal starting city kicks off a day defined by extraordinary Norwegian infrastructure. We cross a stunning chain of tunnels and bridges connecting remote islands before riding the world-famous ocean road, weaving between skerries and open sea.

Day 9: Rest Day or Scenic Mountain Loop

Riders can choose a relaxing rest day or tackle an optional full-day scenic loop through remote high-mountain terrain. The alternative route offers quiet roads, dramatic valleys, and a rewarding sense of Norway's untouched wilderness away from the main tourist routes.

Day 10: Legendary Switchbacks & UNESCO Fjord Crossing

We ride one of Norway's most famous serpentine mountain roads, packed with dramatic hairpin turns and waterfall views. The day continues to a legendary UNESCO-listed fjord, crossed via a scenic ferry ride before reaching our high-altitude mountain lodge.

Day 11: Sky-High Viewpoints & Hidden Mountain Gems

A dramatic mountain viewpoint offers sweeping views over one of Norway's most iconic fjords before we ride a historic high-mountain road through glacier-carved terrain. We pass a beautifully preserved medieval wooden church and a hidden-gem mountain route before the day's end.

Day 12: Coastal Ride & Overnight Ferry Departure

A short, scenic ride brings us to the ferry terminal in the Norwegian capital in time for our overnight sea crossing south. We enjoy a relaxed cruise-ship-like departure experience, taking in scenic coastal views as we sail toward the continent.

Day 13: Return to the Mainland & Final Ride

Arriving back on the continent in the morning, we enjoy a short final ride back to our starting city, marking the symbolic end of an unforgettable Scandinavian motorcycle journey.

Day 14: Farewell Hamburg & Safe Travels

Individual departure from Hamburg, taking home unforgettable memories of dramatic fjords, legendary mountain passes, and iconic Norwegian coastal roads.

*) If you book the “Shared Double Room” option as a solo rider and we cannot find a suitable roommate, you may be required to upgrade to a single room at the single-room rate. We will make every reasonable effort to match you with another solo rider and to book rooms with separate beds where available; however, separate beds cannot be guaranteed at all properties.

Motorcycle rentals and rental gear items are provided by Adventure Rental in Hamburg /Munich and are subject to availability and not included in the tour price. Prices are approximate and may vary – they include the regular mileages for the tour, full coverage insurance (with deductible), full pannier & top case set and GPS navigation system. Payment for rental items will be due at the start of the tour.
