Each day’s itinerary is crafted for under 5 hours of net riding time, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy the amenities of your comfortable base hotel, nestled in the heart of the Dolomites. Detailed Tour Information

 

Rental Motorcycle Pickup / Early Arrivals

If you’re joining the tour with a rental motorcycle, you can pick up your bike at your convenience before the journey begins. Arriving early? Take the opportunity to settle in and explore Munich.

 

Day 1 (390 km): Munich to Carezza

Begin your self-guided adventure with a stretch of Autobahn toward the Austrian border, then transition to scenic, small roads through Austria. Your first Top 50 pass, the Passo di Stalle (Staller Sattel), introduces you to the region’s stunning landscapes. The day ends at your comfortable base hotel in Karersee, where you’ll settle in for the days ahead.

 

Day 2 (266 km): Carezza Loop

Enjoy luggage-free riding as you explore the Penser Joch, your first pass of the day, setting the tone for an exhilarating ride. Continue on to the Jaufenpass—another Top 50 pass—along with plenty of smaller, winding roads and breathtaking mountain views. Take the day at your own pace, stopping wherever inspiration strikes.

 

Day 3 (210 km): Dolomites Exploration

Dive into the heart of the Dolomites with highlights like Passo di Rolle and Passo Pordoi, your first two Top 50 passes within the Alps. This loop lets you fully immerse yourself in the mountain scenery and enjoy some of Italy’s best riding.

 

Day 4 (221 km): Scenic Big Name Passes

Start the day with smaller passes before tackling the main attractions: Passo di Valparola, Passo di Falzarego, and the iconic Passo di Giau—famous for its spectacular switchbacks and panoramic views. Another day to savor the Dolomites’ scenic wonders at your own rhythm.

 

Day 5 (260 km): Lake Garda Loop

Head south toward Riva del Garda on the northern shore of Lake Garda. Enjoy lakeside views and a variety of small, scenic roads in the Trentino region. This day offers a refreshing mix of lakeside beauty and rolling mountain roads.

 

Day 6 (232 km): Sellaronda and Surrounding Passes

Today is all about the passes—six Top 50 passes are on your itinerary! Experience the famous Sellaronda circuit, riding some passes from both directions for the full thrill. Stop in the renowned town of Cortina d’Ampezzo and soak up the unique charm of the Dolomites.

 

Day 7 (365 km): Return to Munich

On your final day, ride the Timmelsjoch—your top pass of the day—and finish with the Kühtai Sattel, your last Top 50 pass. The journey concludes with a stretch on the Autobahn back to Munich, where you’ll return your rental motorcycle and reflect on an unforgettable self-guided journey through the Dolomites.

After each day’s ride, you’ll have ample time to unwind, immerse yourself in the local culture, and connect with fellow riders—making the experience as fulfilling off the bike as it is on it.

 

Ideal for intermediate riders, this journey offers a variety of terrain, including hairpin turns, sweeping curves, and narrow mountain roads. *) If you book the Shared Double Room option as a solo rider, please include the name of the friend you will be sharing with in the comments during check-out. If there is no other rider available to share the room, you may be required to upgrade to a single room at the single-room rate. We will make every reasonable effort to book rooms with separate beds where they are available; however, please note that separate beds cannot be guaranteed at all properties.

These rental items are provided by Adventure Rental in Hamburg /Munich and are subject to availability. Prices are approximate and may vary – they include the mileages for the tour, full coverage insurance (with deductible), full pannier & top case set and GPS navigation system. Payment for rental items will be due at the start of the tour.
