The direction of travel has been reversed and extra days added to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience—including three spectacular roads not featured in the Central Alps Discovery tour: the Silvretta High Alpine Road with its stunning glacier scenery, the Großglockner High Alpine Road—Austria's highest surfaced mountain road—and the dramatic Passo di Stalle with its narrow one-way traffic sections carved into the mountainside.

Day 1: Welcome to Bavaria

Arrive in Munich at your own pace and settle into your hotel. Pick up your motorcycle, review your route materials, and enjoy a relaxed evening before your self-guided Alpine adventure begins.

Day 2: Tyrolean Passes & Castle Views

Leaving Munich, you ride into the Tyrolean Alps on a memorable mix of sweeping mountain roads and tighter switchback sections. Along the way, enjoy dramatic highland scenery, a striking suspension bridge, and historic castle ruins before reaching your overnight stop.

Day 3: High Passes & Alpine Vineyards

Head south through spectacular mountain country, crossing several high-altitude passes with wide panoramas and a rewarding variety of curves. The route descends through changing landscapes toward the sunny valleys and vineyards on the southern side of the Alps.

Day 4: Glacier Roads & Swiss Alpine Scenery

Today combines a series of high mountain crossings through dramatic glacier scenery and remote Alpine terrain. Flowing roads, classic hairpins, and ever-changing views lead you across the border into a renowned Swiss mountain resort.

Day 5: The Classic Swiss Pass Trio

Three iconic Swiss passes shape the day, each with its own distinct riding character, from technical mountain roads to open, sweeping curves. Enjoy rugged peaks, wide valleys, and an outstanding day of high-altitude riding before reaching your overnight stop.

Day 6: Historic Cobblestones & Southern Slopes

A remarkable sequence of Swiss mountain roads awaits, including a historic cobbled route that reflects centuries of Alpine travel. Ride through remote valleys and across dramatic high crossings before descending toward a charming Italian border region.

Day 7: The Ultimate High Pass Highway

Travel through remote Alpine terrain on a long chain of celebrated high passes, linking wide-open panoramas with tight switchbacks and glacier views. The day builds toward one of the world’s most famous motorcycle roads, finishing at the foot of its legendary hairpins.

Day 8: Into the Heart of the Dolomites

Enter the Dolomites on a scenic route through high mountain passes, rolling uplands, and dramatic limestone landscapes. Pause beside a beautiful alpine lake before continuing to your hotel, surrounded by some of the region’s most impressive peaks.

Day 9: Dolomite Loops & Sky-High Panoramas

A full loop day lets you explore some of the Dolomites’ finest roads, combining tight hairpins, high passes, and spectacular rock formations. If you wish, add an optional cable-car excursion for an elevated panorama across the surrounding mountain world.

Day 10: The Grand Dolomites Finale

Another unforgettable day links together a selection of classic Dolomite roads, each revealing a new perspective on the rugged landscape. The route includes a dramatic one-way mountain crossing before continuing north into Austria for the evening.

Day 11: Austria’s Highest Peak & Homeward Bound

Your final riding day features a spectacular high-alpine toll road beneath Austria’s highest peak, with the option to visit a famous panoramic viewpoint. Continue north through Bavaria to Munich, return your motorcycle, and celebrate the end of your journey.

Day 12: Farewell Munich

Individual departure from Munich, taking home unforgettable memories of legendary mountain roads, high Alpine passes, and the dramatic landscapes of Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.

Motorcycle rentals and rental gear items are provided by Adventure Rental in Hamburg /Munich and are subject to availability and not included in the tour price. Payment for rental items will be due at the start of the tour.
